What’s going on in the word of TYS? We are glad you asked. Right
now we are in the studio, but not just any studio. We are back at Blue
Light Audio with highly respected Cory Spotts. Cory is the guy who
recorded and co-produced our last album "Stars and Roadmaps". We are
excited to be back there since Cory did such a great job last time.
Matt just finished his drum tracks and they sound fantastic. He did a
smooth job of it and nailed them pretty quickly. I think he wanted to
do them as quickly as possible since it was like 1,000 degrees in the
drum room. Now Nick and I are gearing up to record the guitars. It's
the part of the recording process that Nick and I really
enjoy, and not just because we are guitarists. It allows us
to experiment and dial in the cool tones and colors we hear in our
heads |

| Hello Friends, We have been working hard lately on material for our next record and decided we need to take a break and get out and play some shows. So Sat May 3rd we will be at The Rogue bar in Scottsdale and Sun May 4th we will be at the Joint in Flagstaff all details below. These will be the first shows with our new drummer Matt Davis so come out and give him a warm welcome. have been hard at work writting songs for our next record and wanted to
give you a taste of what is to come. So we will be releasing
a
song entitiled "From nowhere to Somewhere" next Tuesday Feb 19th on

| We made a video for our
song "Epiphany". It was shot on a rooftop in downtown
Flagstaff, AZ on a warm, rainy night in August. You can check

Also wanted to write a quick note to let everyone know what's going on a with us. The three of us have been pretty much just been hunkering down in the old rehearsal space in beautiful old town scottsdale and writing new tunes. We have been incredibly effecient in the process and have been coming up with some great new sounds that we are very excited about. There is nothing the three of us love more than the collective creativity that goes into forming a song. Also, we will be traveling to Los Angeles in October to record a couple of songs at Chris Lord-Alge's studio. I can't tell you how excited we are to start recording. So we should have some new tunes later this year for your listening pleasure. Following that, we will be focusing on our next full length album. Individually we all have some cool things going on. Nick was able to get his Coronor degree (by mail of course) and will finally get to live his dream. Will has decided to no longer live life as a man. As it so happens, he really doesn't want to be a woman either. We're not really sure what to expect. As for me, I am pregnant....again. This will be number 6 for me in just under 5 years. My hips can't take it anymore.

Our song "Ostinato" was featured on a recent epsiode of Lifetime's new TV series "Monarch Cove". If you missed it check your local listings for re-runs. Our first tv spot, woo hoo! Dec 15th we will be at the Real Bar in Tempe, AZ for The Rock for Tots benefit w/ a ton of great bands. We will be playing an acoustic set and then a full blown electric set. We are at it once again, this time off to play our first show in Safford AZ! Hope you guys are ready, the show is this Friday Nov 17th at The Stir. We just got back into town from our first tour of the Southwest and I must say much ass was kicked! Highlights of the tour include a packed show at the Mint in LA, playing to a few hundred students at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo and a rockin show in Flagstaff. We had such an amazing time, everyone was so cool to us on the road we couldn't of asked for a better first tour. Special thanks goes to everyone who helped us out and all the bands that played with us. You can view a ton of pics and info about the tour in our Journal section, check it out. We have a lot coming up in the next few weeks including a few AZ shows in Tucson, Phoenix, Bullhead City & Safford.
